Choose the service that suits you
I understand it takes courage to take the first step to counselling. Be assured that you’ll be received with compassion, kindness and without judgement. My therapeutic approach is built on strong interpersonal relationships.
Counselling
Face-to-Face sessions are held in a safe and private space. While online sessions can be convenient, they are not always beneficial to the counselling process. If you’d prefer online sessions we can discuss the suitability for your circumstances.
Terry is a certified Trauma Informed Coach.
Women’s Circle
Sometimes the best therapy can be from people who have travelled a similar journey. Our Circles are not simply chat sessions – they’re controlled, therapeutic two-hour sessions, guided and with purpose. We will explore the challenges of discrimination and isolation experienced by families of someone with a disability; you will share the joys and challenges with others who understand. Participants are bound by an agreement of confidentiality – what’s said in Circle, stays in circle. Everyone’s view is respected.
Children's Services
Terry is an accredited facilitator of the Sibworks Program. Sibworks is a peer support program for siblings of children with a disability, created by Siblings Australia. Terry is an accredited facilitator of the 123 Emotion Coaching approach to behaviour management.
Terry has a professional interest in supporting teenage girls who are challenged by anxiety, low self-esteem, low mood, and friendship challenges.
Counselling
Face-to-face | Online | Walk & Talk
I won’t tell you what to do. Instead, I’ll work with you to uncover the issues beneath your story. Together we’ll work on options available to you, explore your skills to cope with the challenges you’re facing, and work to develop practical strategies to achieve the outcomes you set for yourself.
I work in the Mild to Moderate range on the need continuum. The initial intake assessment will guide me in any need for referral to specialist therapy.
My focus is on your wellbeing, and growth. Utilising your strengths, we will work together to find practical strategies to empower you to achieve your desired outcomes.

Group Session
I hold group sessions – a safe place for women/mothers to come together to be heard, by objective women who understand their situation. These sessions will support you without trying to ‘fix you’. Groups are intimate (no more than 8 ) and consistent, so you will build relationships, and gain support without judgement.
